Andy graduated from Valley Forge in December of 2006 and served as a youth pastor / campus pastor since 2007 and currently is a youth pastor at Marlton Assembly of God in Marlton, New Jersey. Since the opening of their new student center Pastor Andy and the Marlton Youth Church team have had hundreds of middle schoolers who don't know Jesus through their youth ministry and they have had to creatively and efficiently learn to disciple middle schoolers in creative and practical ways. Andy and his wife Santina and daughters Alegra and Providence have a blast serving the teens in South Jersey and love their team and family at Marlton.
Carrie Maurio is the Professor of Youth Ministry (Youth Specialist) at University of Valley Forge, in Phoenixville, PA. She has been involved with youth ministry for about 10 years, serving as a youth pastor in two churches in Pennsylvania, and now currently serving as a volunteer youth leader at THRIVE Student Ministry, at Spring Valley Community Church. Aside from teaching, she is passionate about mentoring young women with a call to youth ministry, and regularly does so through a mentoring group called Cascade, which she started. Cascade exists to encourage, equip and resource women called to serve in youth ministry. Carrie has been blessed to be part of Jeanne Mayo’s Cadre mentoring program since 2009. She loves to network with and mentor others so that the next generation can come to know and follow Jesus.
Cassie Davis is a young woman with a passion for travel, literature, cartoons and above all Jesus. She is a senior at the University of Valley Forge and upon graduation will be going into youth ministry. She is well known for her sense of humor and sarcasm but seeks to lift the name of Jesus high while living a life worthy of her calling. While the next few years are an adventure she has taken the opportunity to not plan out but to follow as she is led she hopes to retire on a peach orchard in Georgia and to eventually have a dog. If she's not on stage or at an event doing something cooler than she should probably be allowed she can be found on her longboard, asleep, or asking you questions you weren't ready for.
Christine Kreisher is the Discipleship Pastor at GT, a thriving church in Reading, Pennsylvania where she provides vision and leadership for GT’s discipleship pathway from the first-time guest experience through life groups. She also serves on the LEAD Pastor Team where she helps to provide strategic direction and visionary leadership for the church. She’s the published author of several titles including her newest book release, The Volunteer Project: Stop Recruiting. Start Retaining. Christine has been the featured speaker for numerous local, regional, and national conferences. Her diverse life and business experiences have allowed her to coach and connect with audiences around the world, ranging from church leaders and volunteer teams to corporate executives. Christine is married to her best friend and business partner, Jim. Together they have three amazing sons and never a dull moment!
Born in Baltimore and raised in Laurel Maryland, Pastor Gavin credits his godly grandmother and many godly mothers and fathers in his life for guiding him in the path of Christian service. He graduated from the University of Valley Forge with a B.A. in Youth Ministry. A youth ministry veteran of 12 years, Gavin enjoys communicating the gospel with passion and sees himself more and more in a position similar to the coach of a team, doing his best as God give grace to raise and build up champions that love Jesus and people. Gavin loves hanging with his wife and kids, the Redskins (please forgive him), reading, hitting the gym and hasa special fondness for gummi bears. He currently serves as the student ministries pastor at Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi, Michigan.
David has served the New York Ministry Network (AG) as the director of youth ministry and Chi Alpha since February 2011. Prior to that he served as a youth pastor for 12 years in upstate New York. David is passionate about helping local church youth workers create and sustain disciple-making environments marked by Gospel Fluency, Spirit Dependency and Biblical Community. He has his MA in Transformational Leadership from Northeastern Seminary. David is the author of two books, Good Kids, Big Events and Matching T-Shirts: Changing the Conversation on Health in Youth Ministry (My Healthy Church) and The Word and the Spirit (GPH). David is married to Erin and they have three daughters: Lilia, Caraline and Madelaine. David loves his girls, his family, good music, good food, his Weber grill, his Taylor guitar, Liverpool Football Club, the Yankees and the Gospel.
Eran and his wife Julie, their 3 children, Caleb, Emma and Ellie became the Student Ministries Pastor for Real Life Youth at GT Church, Reading, PA in 2001. During the past 15 years Real Life Youth has grown from a single youth ministry of 30 students to a multi-site youth ministry of 400. Eran’s passion for creative and relevant preaching, his expertise in leadership development and his commitment to excellence distinguish him as leader and communicator. He speaks weekly at Real Life Youth as well as various retreats, camps, conventions, conferences with a passion to inspire students in their faith. Eran’s speaking is described as passionate and inspiring.
Fabian Kalapuch has been the Youth Director of NJ District Assemblies of God Youth for the past 17 years. Fabian previously served as Youth Pastor at Bridgeton Assembly of God in Bridgeton, New Jersey for six years. Prior to his ministry in Bridgeton, Fabian youth pastored in the inner city of Providence, Rhode Island. Fabian holds a Bachelors Degree in Church Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He also is a ’92 graduate of Zion Bible Institute in Barrington, Rhode Island. While attending Zion, Fabian met his wife, Dawn Goodwin. Fabian and Dawn were married during their time at Zion, in August 1991. They currently live in Burlington, New Jersey with their three children: Matthew, Andrew, and Mikayla. Fabian's passion is to see this generation of students impact their world as they reach their full potential and purpose in life, through a personal relationship with Christ.
Leah Young is the founder of and creative director for [REAL] - a social media movement started in 2014, geared towards helping students and young adults engage authentically over social media and discover their true identities in Christ. Leah is the author of her first published work, [REAL]: The 30-Day Social Media Movement, released in 2016, and plans on writing several other books within the [REAL] series. When she isn't writing or speaking for the movement, she is also passionately involved with the worship ministry at her home church. Leah lives in Reading, Pennsylvania with her husband, Andrew, and their first child.
Lee is passionate about empowering students to share Jesus at school, and equipping leaders to do the same. He’s been in Youth Ministry for 17 years. A Youth Alive Missionary, Lee is the author of Initiate: Powerful Conversations That Lead to Jesus. He is a graduate of the University of Valley Forge and a Doctoral student at Regent University. His wife, Christine, is a sixth grade science teacher, and a graduate of the University of Valley Forge, Penn State University, and has a Doctor of Education from the University of Florida. They reside in central Pennsylvania with their son, Judah.
Pastor Matt is Jersey born and raised. Now the Student Ministries Pastor at his home church of 30 years. He enjoys coaching soccer for the high school he graduated from, personal fitness and serving his community as a Police Chaplain for Burlington & Florence Twp. His heartbeat in ministry is to see pastors truly serving their communities through meaningful connections in local schools and serving their local municipalities.
After 18 years in local church youth ministry, Phil served for 10 years as the Youth Ministry Specialist at the University of Valley Forge, and has his Master of Arts in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University. He is the Pennsylvania Director of The Youth Alliance and currently serves at GT Church in West Lawn, Pennsylvania overseeing their Global and Local Outreach. His vision is to impact youth ministry on a global scale by helping to reach and disciple youth leaders with a solid foundation of biblical and theological faithfulness, adolescent specialization, and personal and professional development.
With a decade of full-time youth ministry experience, Rob serves as the high school pastor at Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill, PA. He’s guest lectured at the University of Valley Forge, and he’s mentored more than three hundred students on fourteen high school campuses. Along with writing for ReachTheSchool.com, Rob has also contributed to Group Magazine and Youth Specialties. He has his Bachelors degree in Pastoral Ministry and his Masters in theological studies from the University of Valley Forge. Rob and his wife Kara parent a son and two beautiful daughters.
With 18 years of youth ministry experience, Scott is still passionate about seeing God use young people to change the world! He currently serves on staff as the Jr. High Pastor of Real Life Student Ministries at GT Church where he handles Service Programming, Small Groups, and Logistics for a youth ministry of 350+ students. In his spare time, he enjoys dinking a cold Coke, traveling to Disney World with his wife and two kids, and being a Soccer Dad.
Scotty Gibbons has invested over twenty years of ministry in the local church and served as National Youth Strategist for the Assemblies of God. He speaks at a variety of youth, adult and family events and has a passion for leadership development in pastors. He is the author of four books including his most recent release, The Big Ten: A Quick Access Guide to Ten Youth Ministry Essentials. Scotty currently resides in Missouri with his wife, Casey, and their six children.
Heath serves as the District Youth Director for the Southern New England Ministry Network. Having served in Youth Ministry for over 20 years, both in the local church and on the college campus. Heath earned a B.A. in Church Ministries from Southeastern University and a M.A. in Practical Theology from Southwestern University. Heath enjoys working with church leaders especially when it comes to resourcing and networking. In his free time, Heath enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.
Wayne Morgan is a missionary to the northeast through the National Network of Youth Ministries. He is an advocate for youth ministry and loves to help people discover the power of teamwork. Wayne is married to his high school sweetheart, Karen, and they have three kids.
Founder and president of One18 Movement. As a consultant and communicator, Jason has traveled extensively for 20 years to speak at retreats, services, and events. Through One18 he has hosted over one thousand outreaches and equipped over three hundred student interns for outreach ministry. He is a former youth pastor who's desire to see youth groups and churches grow continues today as he consults and helps build the local church. His passion has helped him develop the unique ability to train today's leaders and equipping others by providing practical resources and hosting hands on training experiences.
My name is Brandon Schauer. And yes, I have a beautiful wife and 3 wonderful kids (one of which is still on the way!) as well as a full time job in Pottstown PA, and a lawn that still needs mowing. I graduated the University of Valley Forge in 2010 with a degree in Theology and a heart for my church and community. I have had a heart for youth ministry since I was a teenager and found myself serving as a youth pastor at Spring Valley Community Church in 2008 while I was still in school. I am still serving at Spring valley as a part time youth pastor and have learned a ton about how to trust and listen to God in times I really just felt like giving up on part time ministry. Diamond DeYampert is a Detroit-native worship leader and singer-songwriter. Her love for the local church began during childhood, as she watched her parents passionately lead a thriving city church. She toured as a worship leader during high school before attending North Central University as a Pastoral Studies and Recording Arts student. In May 2016, she moved to Reading, PA where she now serves as Youth Worship Pastor at GT Church, giving direction to creative programming and discipleship at Real Life Student Ministries. She is a staunch consumer of French press brewed coffee, the most social introvert you have ever met, and she’s a little obsessive over her Instagram feed, which you should totally check out. ;)
Garett Serban is a passionate worshipper of Jesus Christ. Using his talents as a musician, vocalist, songwriter and worship leader, he desires to take people on a deeper journey in their relationship with God through the pursuit of praise and worship. His heart for worship challenges people to step out of the comfortable and receive all that God has in those moments of surrender.As a songwriter, Garett uses words and music to create anthems of freedom, healing and victory. He seeks to write about the powerful, yet simple truths and promises that God speaks over us in his word. Currently finishing his senior year at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, Garett is actively involved in the worship culture on his campus and frequently travels with school worship teams to minster in the local church, youth conventions and summer camps. He also faithfully serves as a worship leader at CLife Church in Orlando, Florida. Originally from Franklin , TN, Garett was raised in a pastor's family where was actively involved in ministry from a young age. You will find his heart for people and love for God contagious as he ministers to people of all ages.
Meet Rebekah Baines, a worship leader, digital creative and devoted traveler. She began engaging in creative arts at a young age, and stepped into worship leading at her home church before graduating high school. She's a staple worship and photo contributor at various PennDel District events as well as at the University of Valley Forge, where she is completing a degree in Digital Media. You’ve never met a girl who craves a home-cooked meal about as much as she’d like a one-way ticket to a different country!
